This
is a short but sweet sight word post. I
have been sick the past few days and am just feeling up to blogging and doing
some school stuff. I created a new sight
word center for my daily 5 rotations that I am sure will be a big hit.
I
got this connect four game at a garage sale for 50 cents over the summer and I
thought I would save it for a fun center game.
What do you know this is what came of it. A sight word connect four game!
Here’s
what you need:
-White
round Post-It Labels
-Connect
4 Game
-Velcro
dots or strips
-Laminator
I
typed all the words and printed them on the post-it labels and laminated
them. You could also just use a circle
shape from publisher if you don’t have labels.
Place Velcro on the laminated words and the checker piece. This way you can change out the words. SO
SMART!
I
also finished my Treasures Unit 3 Sight Word Super Pack. Here are a few pictures on the sight word
mini books we did today and some sample pictures from my unit. If you use Treasures it is a great
supplement.
