Our school is in the last stages of trying to become a national school of character, and besides language arts character ed. is one of my favorites to teach. Below are a couple of pictures to show you what the craft looks like and how I display it. This is a perfect character activity for the first few weeks of school, plus it makes a cute display in your room or hallway.
The kids write on each cloud how they can respect themselves, others, and their school. I connect all the clouds together to form a ring and the kids can glue the streamers on the bottom. Below is a link for the cloud downloads and a list of various picture books to teach respect.
