Frost-It ....A Sight Word Game

I can’t believe that were are already back in school and our break is over. It went by sooo fast, but it was much needed.  I recently started my after school tutoring and my kiddos are in need of sight word help, so here is a cute little game we are currently playing in my class.  I created a very quick little work page and cover page to go with.  I hope this is something that you can use.  I love the sheet because my kids are having to use the sight words in a sentence.  You could also use it as a spelling game too.  They really love playing this.  I think they really enjoy the tissue paper and the term frost it.  I might get crazy and make some sort of challenge with this.  If all of my students score an 80% or higher on their sight word test we can frost real cupcakes….just a thought!  I think they may LOVE this idea, plus it’s motivation.

Below is the link for the work page and directions page.  Just click the picture for your Freebie!!!  I hope have a great week.  I’m pretty excited for the weekend.  I forgot how much they wear you out.

  6. Love the cupcake idea. I tried following you by my email and feedburner says that you are not set up to do that. Will you at some point fix that? I would greatly appreciate an automatic connect when you update your blog.
